LEGAL

TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: October 2026

These terms govern your use of PixQuill (pixquill.com), an AI image and video studio. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or buying credits, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.

▸ 1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

PixQuill is built and operated by Ding Liang, an individual developer operating under the laws of China. There is no other company behind it.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PixQuill, an AI-powered image and video studio available at pixquill.com.

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, buying credits, or running a generation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, and that you are authorized to accept them for yourself or any organization you represent.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. If an account turns out to belong to someone under 18, we close it and delete its data. Using PixQuill after these Terms change means you accept the updated version.

▸ 2. Service Description

PixQuill provides AI image and video tools: prompt-based generation consoles plus specialist tools for jobs like upscaling, outfit changes, object and background removal, and canvas edits. The service is a digital software product delivered over the internet.

Access starts as soon as payment is confirmed, and each run produces a digital result. Because delivery is digital, refunds follow specific rules. See Section 7.

Results are rendered by third-party AI image and video models. The Seedream family is served through Volcano Engine, with other models served through kie.ai and its providers. Because we rely on third-party AI model providers, the service's performance and availability can be affected by theirs. If a major outage happens, we say so on the site.

▸ 3. Account Registration & Eligibility

You sign in with a Google account, and you're responsible for keeping it secure. Activity that happens through your account counts as your activity.

Don't share your credentials or resell access to the service. If you notice unauthorized use, tell us at support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) right away.

Keep a working email address on your account so billing mail reaches you. If you sign up on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these Terms for it.

▸ 4. Plans & Credits

PixQuill offers membership plans (monthly or yearly subscriptions) and one-time credit packs. Current plans and prices live on the pricing page, and we may adjust plan features or introduce new plans over time.

All tools are billed in credits, and the console shows the credit price of every run before you commit. Credits are a usage meter, not a currency, and can't be exchanged for cash.

▸ 5. Billing & Payment

Recurring billing. By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the applicable subscription fee. This authorization stays in effect until you cancel under Section 6. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.

One-time purchases. Each credit pack purchase is a one-time transaction. Completing checkout authorizes a single charge for the amount shown.

Taxes. Unless a price says otherwise, listed prices don't include taxes. Where the law requires it, applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout by our payment partner.

▸ 6. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a membership at any time from the pricing page while signed in, or by writing to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) from your account email.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you already paid for. The membership stays active until then, and you won't be charged again.

Credit packs you bought separately aren't affected by cancellation. They stay valid under their own terms.

Upgrades between memberships of the same billing cycle are prorated against the price difference. Downgrades and mid-period cycle switches aren't supported.

▸ 7. Refund Policy

Failed runs. If a generation fails because of an error on our side, the credits charged for that run are refunded automatically to the balance they came from.

Memberships. A first-time membership can be refunded in full within 7 days of the first charge, as long as you've spent no more than 100 credits of it. Renewal periods aren't refundable once they start, but you can cancel anytime to stop the next one.

Credit packs. A credit pack can be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase, as long as none of the pack's credits have been spent. Once you spend from a pack, the pack is no longer refundable.

Credit validity. Membership credits stay available while the membership is active and expire when it ends. Pack credits stay valid while your account is active, regardless of membership status. When both are available, membership credits are spent first.

Errors and outages. We refund any charge made in error, including double charges. If the service is down for more than 72 hours straight while your membership is active, contact us and we'll refund or credit the affected time.

Purchases are processed by our payment partner, Waffo Pancake. Depending on how you checked out, your statement may show their name rather than PixQuill.

To request a refund, write to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) with your account email, the transaction ID, and the reason. We confirm within two business days and process approved refunds within 5 to 10 business days.

Accounts closed for breaking these Terms don't get refunds. If the law where you live gives you refund rights beyond this policy, those rights apply.

▸ 8. Billing Disputes

If you don't recognize a charge, write to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) before filing a dispute with your bank. We reply within two business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within five. It's usually faster than a chargeback for everyone involved.

▸ 9. AI Output & Intellectual Property

Outputs are yours. Subject to these Terms, the images and videos you generate belong to you, and you may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial projects, consistent with Section 10. Where a result is heavily based on a reference you uploaded, the reference's own rights still apply.

Inputs stay yours. You keep the rights to the images, videos and audio you upload. You grant PixQuill a limited, non-exclusive license to process your uploads and prompts only to run the tools you use and to store the results in your library. We don't use your inputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Third-party models. Results come from third-party AI models, and their behavior can shape the output. We don't guarantee a specific output quality, and we're not responsible for what a third-party model produces.

Accuracy. AI output can miss. A result may not match your prompt exactly, so look it over before you rely on it. Never treat generated content as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

▸ 10. Acceptable Use Policy

PixQuill renders what you prompt, so some things are off the table. Six categories of generated content are always prohibited. You may not use the service to create:

  • Sexual or pornographic content, including explicit nudity
  • Gore and graphic violence
  • Hate speech: content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or anything similar
  • Child-unsafe content: child sexual abuse material or any sexualized content involving minors
  • Deepfakes and impersonation: fabricated or altered images, videos or audio of real people presented as genuine, or any content meant to pass as a real person, brand, or organization
  • Content that infringes copyright or trademarks, including protected characters and logos you have no rights to

▸ 10.1 Moderation, Enforcement & Reporting

Some violations are zero-tolerance and may be reported to law enforcement: child sexual abuse material, content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, instructions for building weapons, content that incites genocide or ethnic hatred, and non-consensual sexual content featuring real people.

Also not allowed: passing generated images or videos off as human-made work where it matters, such as contests or journalism; bulk spam or deceptive content; and prompts designed to talk the models out of their safety rules. The usual service abuse is out too: scraping at scale, reselling raw access, or bypassing credit metering or content moderation.

Because PixQuill is an AI service, one more rule applies: don't use its inputs, outputs, model responses, or anything derived from them to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or distill any AI or machine learning model that competes with the service, and don't collect model output systematically at scale beyond your own authorized use.

Every prompt is screened by an automated filter before a run starts, and flagged prompts don't render. We keep records of moderation decisions, and reports from users get a human review.

We enforce in steps where the violation allows it: warning, content removal, feature restriction, suspension, permanent ban. Serious or repeated violations go straight to a ban. An account banned for breaking these rules loses its remaining membership time and credits.

See something that slipped through? Report it to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) with the work ID. We review every report and act on valid ones. Critical reports involving child safety or terrorism get a response within 24 hours; everything else within 3 business days.

If you think a moderation or enforcement decision was wrong, write to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) and we take a second look.

▸ 11. Data, Privacy & Security

Our Privacy Policy, published at pixquill.com/privacy, explains what we collect and how we handle it, and it's part of these Terms.

Payment card data is processed exclusively by Waffo Pancake, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Card details never touch our servers.

After you delete your account, remaining account data is kept for up to 90 days, then deleted.

▸ 12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as is and as available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and the accuracy of AI output.

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Before acting on it in any professional context, verify it with a qualified professional.

To the extent the law allows, PixQuill is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event behind the claim.

▸ 13. Term & Termination

These Terms stay in effect while you use the service. You can stop anytime. To delete your account and its data, write to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com).

We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaks these Terms, shows signs of fraud, or where the law requires it. An account suspended for breaking these rules doesn't get its remaining membership time or credits back.

If we ever shut the service down or terminate an account without cause, we refund the unused part of what was paid.

▸ 14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of China. Before starting any formal proceeding, write to support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com) so we can try to resolve the dispute informally first.

▸ 15. General Provisions

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes are posted on this page with a new revision date, and changes that affect your rights or billed features get at least 14 days of notice before they take effect. Using the service after that means you accept the update.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy together are the whole agreement between you and PixQuill.

▸ 16. Contact Information

Questions, billing issues, refund requests, cancellation help: support@pixquill.com (backup: koboshi1989@gmail.com). Both addresses reach the same person, and every message gets read. Talk to us before you talk to your bank.

By using the service or completing checkout, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
